An established Accounting and Audit firm in Nicosia are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping entries and maintaining proper records of clients’ books
- Reconciliations of various accounts and preparing the books for audit
- Submissions of tax returns
- Payroll preparation and submission of Social Insurance Declarations
- Ensure proper set-up of new clients
- Communication with clients
- Supervise and provide guidance to junior staff members, including coaching and development.
- Collaboration with Audit Team
Requirements
- At least 3 years of previous experience in an Accounting Firm or similar position
- Bachelor in Accounting or at least LCCI Higher Certificate
- Knowledge of Cyprus VAT legislation
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Excellent command of English and Greek language
- Any other language will be considered an advantage
- Organizational and communication skills

- Remuneration package: EUR 21,000 – 26,000 (depending on experience / qualifications)
