Senior Accountant

CAF Management is a results oriented, multi-family property management company seeking a full-time property accountant. Candidates must be highly motivated, detail oriented and operate with a high degree of integrity. This position will report directly to the Accounting Manager and VP of Finance, and as the candidate and company continue to grow, this role provides a clear path for advancement. The foundation of our business is built on the relationships we have with our residents, employees and investors. Accordingly, candidates must have a high degree of emotional intelligence and be able to communicate effectively both in written and verbal forms.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Leading the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP).

Month-End Close: Overseeing the month-end and year-end closing processes, including performing complex account reconciliations, reviewing journal entries, and analyzing variances.

Communication & Collaboration: Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and management, to address financial issues, provide insights, and support decision-making processes.

Salary: $75,000+ based on experience

Education: Bachelor's (Required)

Experience: Accounting: 3+ years (Preferred)

License/Certification: CPA Candidate (Preferred)
