As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing accounting records and budgeting for our Group companies. The ideal candidate is expected to have a solid background in accounting, work independently, take initiative, and deliver accurate financial solutions.
Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain full-cycle accounting in SAP software for several Group companies
- Manage accruals, journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end and year-end closings
- Process invoices and reconcile payments promptly and accurately
- Verify supporting documents for proper payment execution
- Prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Prepare tax workings and tax returns submission (CPT, VAT, WHT, etc.) for assigned companies
- Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries
- Perform various ad hoc tasks and projects as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with SAP accounting software and JIRA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support colleagues when needed
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of financial information
