What you will doAs our Senior Accountant / Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in strengthening our financial operations as we scale our mission to fight financial crime. Reporting to our Group Finance Manager, you’ll help shape and improve our finance processes across Belgium, Switzerland, and other locations.
What you’ll do- Take ownership of financial reporting and analysis — go beyond the numbers to understand what drives them.
- Improve reporting quality, cost allocation, and FP&A processes.
- Support month-end close activities and ensure accurate, timely financial information.
- Act as a point of contact for local and regional teams; step in during absences as needed.
- Work closely with our Finance Manager to support group-level financial operations and projects.
- Contribute to optimising our finance systems (Netsuite, Salesforce, Certinia).
- Help train and mentor more junior team members as we grow the team.
- Support transfer pricing and international accounting matters in collaboration with external advisors.
- Drive process improvements and help build a resilient, future-ready finance department.
If you're a financial problem-solver who thrives on variety, we're looking for you.
- BSc or MSc in Accounting or similar — formal accounting training is important.
- Solid experience in corporate accounting — ideally in an international environment.
- Strong analytical skills; experience with financial analysis and reporting is key.
- IFRS knowledge is a plus but not required.
- Experience with Netsuite or similar ERP systems is a plus.
- Startup/scale-up mentality — curious, proactive, collaborative, comfortable working across multiple countries.
- Good communication skills — able to explain financial concepts to non-finance colleagues.
- Fluent in English.
