The Opportunity
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant. The role will be a key contributor in our four-person Finance and Accounting team. To be successful as a Senior Accountant, you should have a strong accounting background combined with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. You will need to work both autonomously and within a highly productive team.
What You’ll Do
- Monthly financial reporting and analysis
- Day-to-day bookkeeping, including cost accounting
- Oversee AP and AR process
- State and local tax reporting
- Support financial audits
- Assist in budgeting process
- Projects directed by CFO
- Maintain employee commission records
- Research technical accounting matters
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in private equity backed company
- 4+ years of accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Preferred if CPA
- Preferred if experience with Netsuite and Bill.com
- Experience with financial audits
- Experience with accounting for multiple entities and business units
- Experience with AR and AP process
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
