Location: Los Angeles, CA - Hybrid 2x a week

Reports To: Head of Finance

Position Overview:

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day

accounting functions, ensuring compliance with accounting principles

and company policies. You will play an integral role in managing the

month-end and year-end close processes, financial reporting, and

providing insight into the company’s financial health. The ideal candidate

will have strong experience in SaaS accounting, financial analysis, and the

ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

● Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of the company’s general

ledger.

● Review and post journal entries for various accounting functions

(e.g., revenue recognition, expenses, accruals).

● Reconcile all general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.

● Lead the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy

and completeness.

● Prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and

Cash Flow) in compliance with GAAP.

● Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all transactions are

accounted for correctly.

● Assist in preparing and reviewing account reconciliations, including

revenue, deferred revenue, and expenses.

● Ensure proper recognition of revenue in accordance with ASC 606

(SaaS-specic revenue recognition).

● Review customer contracts, billing arrangements, and subscription

models to ensure accurate revenue recognition.

● Monitor and reconcile deferred revenue accounts.

● Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting

processes.

● Work with the finance team to implement accounting software

improvements or integrations for better efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

● 5+ years of experience

● Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field

● Quickbooks Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

● Self-motivated, action-oriented, and eager to learn.

● An open communicator—able to speak to all levels inside and

outside the organization, with relative ease.

● Team player actively contributing to the team's success through

knowledge-sharing, support, and engaging in team activities

● SaaS b2b experience
