Senior Accountant

STV is seeking a Senior Accountant to work with our corporate accounting team. This position is designated as hybrid (3 days week/in office) and will be located in our Douglassville, PA office.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for management and perform analysis to identify trends and explain variances from budget. 
• Develop ad hoc financial reports and assist with automating the overall financial reporting process
• Supports month-end and year-end close processes including posting journal entries, preparing account reconciliations, and performing flux analyses.
• Designs operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiency.
• Oversee subsidiary ledger and assist with improving processes and aligning policies.
• Ensures integration of data produced into systems and supports objectives of financial analysts.
• Works with external consultants or auditors to provide required information and ensure proper recordkeeping for historical purposes.
• Assist with accounting special projects including implementing new systems and integrating newly acquired companies.
• Prepares financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in an accounting, supported by a minimum 3 years’ work experience as an auditor in a public accounting firm 
• US CPA licensure
• Proven project management skills
• Excellent communication
• A collaborative approach to management 
• The flexibility to constantly learn and adapt
• Microsoft Suite of Products. PowerBI and/or Adaptive experience a plus

Compensation Range:

$68,554.21 - $91,405.62
