As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for general accounting functions, financial reporting and financial analysis. A successful candidate in this position combines strong analytical and problem-solving skills with basic accounting principles to successfully record, report and analyze financial results for the company. This position reports directly to our Controller and located in historic downtown Annapolis, MD.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in day-to-day accounting operations
- Focus on Project Accounting—Development and Construction
- Assist in Project Forecasts and cash flows
- Assist in preparing both financial and management reports
- Prepare numerous project-related reports and analysis
- Streamline and document current and future workflows
- Key contributor to Intacct system continued development and integration to other systems and creation of dashboards
- Other Ad Hoc projects, reports, and analysis

QUALIFICATIONS | EXPERIENCE
- CPA Preferred
- 2 to 5 years of experience
- Preferably with public accounting experience of at least 1 to 2 years
- Detailed-oriented, known for accuracy and high-quality work
- Good system knowledge and understanding of data flows
- Highly motivated team player and self-starter and desire to learn the business
- Must reside within commutable distance to our office in Annapolis, MD
