Position Summary
The Senior Accountant is a critical role on the Accounting team that helps Nomad make financial decisions by collecting, tracking and managing our company’s finances. This role partners closely with others in the Accounting & Finance team as well as cross-functionally across the organization. External communication will also be a critical function of this role. This role is responsible for financial audits, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring financial records are accurate throughout the year.
Responsibilities/What You Will Do
- Manage Accounting transactions including processing vendor invoices in bill payment platform in an accurate and timely manner
- Oversee management of vendor profiles and information for compliance; ensure accurate and up-to-date information
- Proactively review AP Aging reports and perform GL expense account analyses
- Manage vendor inquiries and correspondence
- Approve employee expense report review and payments
- Maintain documentation for corporate credit card transactions and perform credit card reconciliations
- Record intercompany transactions
- Facilitate day to day accounting to ensure the transactions get accounted for in a timely and accurate manner.
- Work with Controller to create and submit year-end 1099 filings, sales and other tax filings as needed
- Handle other accounting tasks, audit requests, month-end close tasks and schedules as needed.

- Required education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting
- CPA strongly preferred
- Expert in accounting principles and standards

Compensation for this full-time position is between $95,000 to $153,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum amount employees can earn during their time in the role. Actual pay may be higher or lower depending on geographic locations, skills, experience, and other factors permitted by law.
