Forward is looking for a Senior Accountant
Responsibilities:
• Prepare day-to-day transactions (i.e., Ar/AP, prepaid, fixed assets, etc.),
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, as well as detailed income statement analysis.
• Assist in preparing financial reports, account reconciliations, audit preparations.
• Manage and take responsibly for transactional accounting processes, such as Procure-to-Pay
and Order-to-Cash.
• Have a hand in developing accounting policies and procedures.
• Ad hoc projects to support the development of the Company as needed.
Requirements:
• Requires strong GAAP knowledge; revenue recognition for SaaS companies (ASC 606).
• Be comfortable working in a fast-growth startup and being a self-starter.
• The ability to critically think and make corresponding conclusions, including the ability to detect
patterns and interpret incomplete data.
• The ability to work in a diverse work environment and be nimble with shifting priorities.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of relevant experience, mix of public accounting and private industry experience
strongly preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail, including self-review, and detailed project management skills.
• Be proficient with Netsuite, Microsoft and Google Suite, Ramp, Floqast, etc.
• An active CPA or pursuing license.
• Prior experience at a start-up
This is a hybrid role requiring two days per week onsite at our Santa Clara office.
The base pay range for this role is between $110,000 and $130,000. Base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
