Job Overview:We are hiring a Senior Accountant for a reputed healthcare organization in Luanda, Angola, Central Africa. This is an excellent international opportunity for accounting professionals with strong expertise in financial reporting, accounting operations, and statutory compliance. Candidates with prior experience in the Medical / Healthcare industry will have an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and finalize Balance Sheets, Financial Statements, and Profit & Loss Accounts.
- Manage end-to-end accounting operations and the General Ledger.
- Handle month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
- Perform bank, vendor, and ledger reconciliations.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and cash flow.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis for management.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, taxation, and audit processes.
- Maintain accurate financial records and implement strong internal controls.
Requirements
- 4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a managerial role.
- Strong experience in Balance Sheet Finalization, Financial Statement Preparation, and Profit & Loss (P&L) Reporting.
- Sound knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliations, taxation, and financial reporting.
- Experience in the Medical / Healthcare industry will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/ERP.
- English communication is mandatory; Hindi is preferred.
