About Us:
At Ember Lab, we create powerful, transformative experiences that stay with players for a lifetime. With the launch of our debut game, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, in 2021. Our studio moves fast, adapts constantly, and isn’t afraid to pivot daily when creativity or strategy demands it. We’re looking for team members who thrive in motion, can take direct feedback, and lean into change rather than resist it.
We’re seeking a thoughtful, detail-driven Senior Accountant who brings deep accounting expertise but is also energized by building systems, supporting strategy, and enabling sound decisions in real time. You won’t just be closing books — you’ll be shaping the financial backbone of a studio that evolves day by day.
After your first 90 days, you’ll help document, strengthen, and streamline our financial operations, setting standards that scale. From there, you’ll help guide the future of our finance function - whether that means mentoring others, optimizing workflow, or pivoting daily into more strategic work as the organization grows.
This is more than accounting - it’s building something that lasts. If you excel in fast-paced environments, welcome challenge, and can take direct feedback and act on it, Ember Lab may be the place for you.

What We Do
Founded in 2009 by brothers Josh and Mike Grier as an animation and digital content creator, Ember Lab’s vision is to create immersive and evocative stories with characters that resonate and worlds that inspire. Ember Lab originally specialized in character development for advertising. The studio’s commercial work includes ad campaigns and animated shorts developed from concept to completion for The Coca-Cola Company, Hisense, and Major League Baseball. The company’s culture is based on a highly collaborative environment that melds the creative and production processes. In the studio, the lines between technical and artistic development tend to disappear as teams focus on delivering fantastic and innovative experiences. Ember Lab produced the award-winning short film, Dust, and the acclaimed Majora’s Mask fan film, Terrible Fate. The success of their commercial and independent projects led them to develop their passion project and first game, Kena: Bridge of Spirits. Releasing August 24 on PS4, PS5, and the Epic Games Store, Kena: Bridge of Spirits is now available for preorder.
