Position Summary
TelevisaUnivision is seeking a senior accountant to support the Finance, Record to Report team for Digital. This candidate will be involved in all aspects of the monthly accounting close process related to our streaming digital business.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the monthly closing process by preparing and uploading journal entries
- Prepare and maintain monthly recurring entries
- Prepare various general ledger account analyses by reviewing transactions within the general ledger to ensure accurate activity within the account
- Ability to interpret and understand contracts.
- Responsible for the accounting for specialized contractual obligations.
- Assist in preparation of the Quarterly Flux analysis book
- Assist in gathering support for the internal/external audit requests
- Support ad hoc projects/system implementation
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 3+ yrs. accounting experience
- Strong PC Skills with moderate knowledge of Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks
- Problem solving and priority setting
- Strong verbal and analytical skills required with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with team
Desired Skills & Experience
- Certified Public Accountant is a plus
- Bilingual - Ability to speak and write in Spanish
Eligibility Requirements
- Located in Teaneck, NJ
- Employment/education will be verified
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, type, and sit for up to (8) hours
