Senior Accountant and Controller - Fix term

Job Description

• Preparation of annual financial statements according to IFRS
• Reconciliation of general and subsidiary ledger.
• Processing of asset accounting
• Prepare the financial statements for the external audit. Be the contact person for the audit and explain any questions or provide data as needed.
• Reviewing and approving appropriate journals ensuring appropriate back-up and accuracy of these journals
• Ensuring the integrity and robustness of the valances sheet reconciliations prepared on a monthly basis
• Providing ad-hoc finance reports to commercial or other finance teams

Qualifications

• A successfully completed business degree and/or a successfully completed commercial training with further training to become an senior accountant
• 5-8 years of experience in financial accounting and preparation of financial statements, ideally in an international corporate environment or in the area of auditing
• Very good knowledge of accounting regulations according to IFRS
• A confident use of MS Office products, especially Excel
• Nice to have knowledge of D365/Microsoft Dynamics
• Communicative and used to work on a stand alone basis
• Fluent English language skills.
• German language skills is a plus.
