Description:
Responsible for general accounting functions including maintaining general ledger and account reconciliations. Will involve assisting with monthly closings, account analysis and resolving account discrepancies through collaboration with internal departments.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements
- Conduct reconciliations of balance sheet and general ledger accounts
- Perform account analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management
- Research and correct billing, inventory, and tax discrepancies
- Assist with monthly close and preparation of budgets
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with GAAP, procedures, and regulations
- Provide support during external audits
- Assist with special projects as needed
Required Skill Set:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant accounting experience
- Prior accounting Team Lead experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, other accounting software a plus
- Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles
- Ability to perform financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete assignments within deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis
