POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a driven Senior Account Executive to join our team! As a Senior Account Executive you will be responsible for owning and managing a specified set of Canon Medical Informatics, Inc. customers. This role includes delivering sales of Professional Services and software sales. The Senior Account Executive will act as a customer advocate working closely with service, sales, marketing, and engineering to improve the product’s adoption and to deliver a World Class Canon Medical Informatics, Inc. partner experience.
TERRITORY
Midwest (Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Indiana, Missouri, Arkansas, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop key relationships with customers at all levels, set appropriate expectations, and repetitiously deliver on those expectations
- Sell software in addition to Professional Services, which includes hardware, education and professional services
- Establish and maintain a positive and professional relationship with assigned customers with a clear focus on expansion
- Interact and communicate frequently over the phone and occasionally in person with key contacts in addition to developing new contracts to drive IB growth
- Maintain strong product knowledge of the entire Canon Medical Informatics, Inc. product suite and be able to effectively advise partners regarding how to best leverage their advanced visualization solution. This includes a strong commanding knowledge of radiology information workflow and how our solutions fit within this spectrum
- Participates in the planning, approval, and implementation of approved change management requests
- Sell and drive education to support customer adoption
- Manage collections for assigned accounts
- Inform customers on Education units available, Webinars, eService tools, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- 10+ years customer facing experience required
- 5+ years Sales experience
- 5+ years of technical/clinical consulting in the software or medical device industry preferred
- Ability to communicate and operate across multiple functional groups internally, including international partnerships, and at customer sites to demonstrate the value of software and services
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to travel domestically up to 50% of the time

COMPENSATION
$100,240 - $150,360 base salary (dependent on experience) + variable commission

Our compensation philosophy is designed to ensure fair and equitable pay practices that are both market‑competitive and internally consistent. Salary ranges are established using external market data and are intended to reflect the full scope of experience, skills, and proficiency levels associated with the role.
As part of our standard hiring practice, we aim extend offers at or near the midpoint of the range for candidates who are fully qualified and demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and experience required to perform the role independently and effectively. Final compensation decisions may vary based on individual qualifications, experience, and other job‑related factors, while remaining within the established range.
