## Role Summary
American Cyber is seeking a results-driven Senior Account Executive (Independent Contractor – 1099) to support revenue growth initiatives. This role is responsible for driving new business and expanding existing client relationships by selling cybersecurity solutions and services. You will manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting through negotiation and close—while collaborating with Sales and Marketing on strategic go-to-market initiatives. This engagement requires a high degree of autonomy, accountability, and consistent performance against revenue targets.

## What You’ll Do
* Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations
* Identify, prospect, and qualify new sales opportunities through outbound outreach, networking, and lead generation activities
* Lead discovery conversations to understand customer objectives, risk posture, and compliance requirements; align solutions accordingly
* Conduct product demonstrations and deliver compelling presentations that communicate the value of American Cyber’s solutions and services
* Manage the full sales cycle, including qualification, solution alignment, proposal development, negotiation, and closing
* Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to support go-to-market strategies, campaigns, and account plans to improve conversion and velocity
* Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and revenue targets with disciplined pipeline management and forecasting
* Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with clients and partners, coordinating with internal stakeholders as needed
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts within CRM systems
* Represent American Cyber professionally in all client interactions and industry engagements
## Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
* 7+ years of B2B sales experience; cybersecurity industry experience strongly preferred
* Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets
* Strong understanding of sales methodologies, pipeline management, and deal progression
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, including experience engaging executive stakeholders
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate customer needs into solution value
* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with distributed, cross-functional teams
* Willingness to travel as required
## Engagement Terms (1099 Contractor)
* This role is structured as an independent contractor (1099) engagement and does not constitute an employment relationship
* You retain discretion over the manner and means of performing services, consistent with agreed objectives and performance expectations
* Compensation structure (e.g., commission-based, base + commission, or draw) will be defined in a separate agreement
* Contractor is responsible for applicable taxes, insurance, and business expenses unless otherwise specified

Skills Required
