POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting into the Group Account Director, the Senior Account Executive will act as the trusted advisor and strategic partner for our valued clients. This isn't just about maintaining relationships – it's about building lasting partnerships fueled by your deep understanding of their needs and your talent for transforming those needs into actionable plans. As a member of our New York studio, you will join a dynamic, globally-minded team surrounded by some of the brightest minds in their fields and get to work in one of the newest WPP campuses.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:  

Client Management

  • Participate in client meetings and take an active role in client communications and interactions, as they relate to projects.
  • Assist the senior Account Team in the execution of marketing, tactical and communication plans for clients.
  • Understand the relevant internal and client processes as well as client brand guidelines.
  • Manage project status and proactively inform the Account Director(s) of any potential concerns.

Business Management

  • Proactively manage multiple projects to ensure smooth and accurate execution within established timeframes and budget parameters, operating independently and taking charge on routine tasks.
  • Work closely with internal teams following client processes and ensure that projects are executed within timelines and established budgets.
  • Manage and report finances: develop initial estimates, track project budgets, costs, invoicing, etc.

Leadership

  • Rally required internal/external resources to address specific issues and opportunities, assign tasks, and ensure matters are brought to satisfactory resolution.
  • Take the lead on client status reporting. Review and approve status reports, contact reports, and other communications as required for clients and project team.
  • Assist in creating and building an agency culture that reinforces high levels of client service, operational excellence, commitment, respect and team spirit.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:  

  • Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline.
  • At least 2-3 years of agency experience in a pharma environment.
  • Ability to proactively work under pressure in a fast-paced evolving and growing environment.
  • Self-motivated, with a positive attitude and a desire to learn a deeper level of the business.
  • Strong client service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent project management skills with strong organization and attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Financial acumen.
  • Strong written/oral communication 

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $70,000 to $80,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
