IDS International is seeking a part-time, temporary Security Specialist to join our industrial security team.
Responsibilities:
- Support the company’s compliance with the NISPOM and any other government, agency-specific, or company security policies and procedures
- Ensure candidates and employees meet the security requirements of the client
- Prepare and submit complete and accurate security packages, following up with subject and client security offices as appropriate
- Maintain complete and accurate records
- Assist the Facility Security Officer as directed
Required qualifications:
- Active Top Secret security clearance
- Associates degree or combination of education and experience
- 3+ years of experience in personnel security processing with an intelligence agency
- Knowledge of government databases, including DISS and Scattered Castles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desired qualifications:
- Professional security certification
