Security Operations Engineer – Global
[About the role]:
We are looking for a highly motivated Security Operations Engineer to join our global security team and help protect our international business of RTE & ConvoAI. You will be responsible for security operations, threat detection, incident response, and security automation across our global environment.
[Responsibilities]:
1. Own and improve security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response for our global business.
2. Perform security analysis and detection engineering using SIEM, EDR, WAF, and related security platforms.
3. Support cloud security operations across AWS/Azure/GCP and other environments.
4. Collaborate with security, engineering, SRE, IT, and business teams across regions and time zones.
[Qualifications]:
1. bachelor degree or above with 3+ years of experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, SOC, Detection & Response, SRC, or related fields.
2. Hands-on experience investigating and responding to real-world security incidents.
3. Strong experience with SIEM, EDR, WAF, SOAR, or related security technologies.
4. Solid understanding of OWASP Top10, MITRE ATT&CK and common attack techniques.
5. Proficiency in at least one of Python, Go, or Shell.
6. Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
7. Strong English communication skills and the ability to work effectively with international teams.
[Nice to Have]:
1. Security experience supporting global Internet, SaaS, fintech, or e-commerce businesses.
2. Experience in security analysis with AI, Threat Hunting, Detection Engineering, Red Team, or Blue Team.
3. CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, GCFA, OSCP, or equivalent certifications.
4. Excellent spoken English and communication skills.
Skills Required
