What You'll Do:

The Security Officer is critical to Beaver Run Resort's operations. This position will regularly interact with guests and staff and assist them in various capacities. The Security Officer will monitor the property and lock and secure various areas and doors and respond to fire alarms, medical and other emergency situations. This position serves as a liaison between the police and fire departments. Administrative duties include, but are not limited to completing and filing of forms, creating keys, distributing parking permits, etc. Variable schedule. Shift differentiation pay available for night shifts. Guest service backgrounds are welcome, we will train the right individual! Full-time, year-round position with benefits eligibility. Employee housing available on a first-come, first-served basis based on position. This position will be scheduled for the overnight shift 9pm-7am daily.

Position starts at $22.00 - $24/hr + DOE

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Respond to guest calls including lock outs, disruptions, etc.
• Ensure adherence to company safety guidelines
• Respond to alarms, medical calls, and other emergencies
• Liaise with Fire, Police, and EMS and document any measures taken

What You'll Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent - required
• Background in security or other relevant hotel positions - preferred
• Proficient at written and verbal communication in English - required
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite - preferred
• Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, kneel - required
• Ability to lift and move 40+ lbs - required
