About the Role
Are you passionate about leading operational excellence in an entrepreneurial and dynamic work environment? Are you yearning for an opportunity to utilize your creativity to grow a scaling process? We are looking for a Security Architect to join us on our journey to facilitate a digital revolution in the B2B supply chain.
We are seeking an experienced Security Architect to develop and execute a strategic security architecture vision, including standards and frameworks aligned with overall business and technology strategy. Your primary focus will be on modernizing our security stack, automating processes, and enhancing data and application security. You will drive the security components of all technology architecture in the company, ensuring that security, privacy, and compliance requirements are addressed throughout the lifecycle of each initiative.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enhance security team accomplishments and competencies by planning the delivery of solutions and answering technical questions.
  • Plan, research, and design security architecture for IT systems.
  • Develop, review, and approve installation requirements for LANs, WANs, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and related network devices,
  • Determine security protocols by evaluating business strategies and requirements.
  • Respond to, and investigates, security incidents and provides thorough post-event analyses.
  • Develop project timelines for ongoing system upgrades.
  • Review system security measures and implements necessary enhancements.
  • Conduct regular tests and monitoring of network security.
  • Verify security systems by developing and implementing test scripts.
  • Update job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Work closely with the team to assist with recruiting, educating and enabling our MSSP Partners
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.


Qualifications/Skills:

  • Experience in Cloud/Security space with working knowledge of design and implementation for at least one of the following: AWS, Azure, VMWare, Kubernetes, or HBSS, Nextgen Firewalls, TIPS, IPS/IDS, DevOps
  • Experience in selling to MSSP vendors or working in an MSSP
  • 5+ years of experience supporting technical sales or 5+ years of experience in engineering or operations networking
  • 5+ years of experience in networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, Routing, Switching, Firewalls, IPv4/v6, UNIX Admin, and experience with switches, routers, and firewalls in Intranet/Internet/Extranet environments
  • Strong knowledge of general security best practices and direct experience with at least one security product
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technology simply
  • Conscientious attitude and dependability, self-starter, ability to work independently while appreciating teamwork and communication
  • CCSP, CISSP, CASP+, CySA+ CEH technical certifications a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree


Compensation: $200-250k
