As an Analyst within the Securities Services Operations team, you will be responsible for handling operations related to Taiwan cash equity settlement, account opening, Futures & Options, Stock Borrowing and Lending, and Bond Underwriting. You have a direct impact on our team, ensuring smooth and efficient transaction processes. You will leverage your knowledge of transaction management to identify and resolve issues, guided by established practices and procedures. You will also be expected to think strategically, fostering innovation and team building. Your proficiency in artificial intelligence and automation will be crucial in optimizing our transaction processes.
Job responsibilities
- Process and reconcile day-to-day transactions in compliance with local regulations and internal policies
- Collaborate with Vendor, Product Manager and Exchange to drive for logistics changes including system enhancement discussion and testing, data and trade process flow revisiting.
- Manage the account/Ref data newly/update/close with system/custodians/ exchanges in compliance with local regulations and internal policy
- Coordinate with custodians, brokers, exchanges, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate clearing/settlement.
- Act as the key interface and escalation point to sales, trader, dealer, audit, compliance, legal, technology for operational matters.
- Review the SOP regularly and update them timely according to change and where possible make suggestions for greater efficiency and control.
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- Taiwan Senior Broker license and Taiwan Futures license.
- Familiar with Cash equity/Futures & Options settlement processes.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft application and the willingness to learn new application in an ever-changing environment
- Excellent attention to details and control point under time pressure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience using Alteryx, RPA (UiPath) or Tableau expertise is a plus.
