Job Description Summary
Position is a capital markets generalist that typically exists in smaller business units, responsible for the credit, data, documentation and compliance evaluations of mortgage loans offered for purchase or sale; negotiation of the agreements and supplementary documents relating to the purchase and sale of mortgage loans (RMBS); preparation of the disclosure documents required to offer mortgage-backed securities; management of purchaser / underwriter due diligence examinations of mortgage loans to be sold or securitized; and management of operational, tax, financial and legal risks arising out of the execution of mortgage loan purchases, sales and securitizations, including securitization policy and appropriate exceptions to such policy.
Job Description
- Associate will assist and provide support within Capital Market Operations.
- Associate will learn and commit Forward CASH with GSE's. Learning all aspects of allocations of MBS and Whole Loan CASH to the GSE.
- Adhering to policy & procedures on delivering pools to the Shipping team.
- Provide support for management on daily reporting.
- Review and research of loans to reduce aging on warehouse lines.
- Support team members on daily task within Capital Markets and reconciliation review.
- Upload pools at the end of the day into Compass.
