About the Department:
Lexington Partners is one of the largest managers of secondary acquisition and co-investment funds with $84 billion in committed capital since inception. Lexington has acquired over 4,500 secondary and co-investment interests through more than 1,200 transactions. Lexington also invests in private investment funds during their initial formation and has committed to more than 750 new funds in the U.S., Europe, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific region. Financial services professional to support a recently established group focused on data, analytics, and financial due diligence that will support Lexington’s London investment teams in various aspects of underwriting, portfolio monitoring, and other related areas. The group will particularly focus on reviewing and transcribing financial reporting information into a broader database, basic financial modelling, and supporting with the preparation of investment memoranda.
How you will add value?Work closely with Lexington’s London secondaries investment team to participate in deal-related workflows
Manage data compiling and digital transition with the use of DealCloud and similar tools
Assist in the preparation of financial models, valuations, and comparable company analyses under the guidance of investment team members
Help gather and organize financial and operational data from private equity reporting and other sources
Support general due diligence and research
Ensure consistently high-quality, detailed work product and on-time production of deliverables
1 – 3 years of experience in financial services, prior employment with a US-based firm is strongly preferred
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Superior financial modeling / Microsoft Office skills
Significant prior experience in financial statement analysis and due diligence
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Team-oriented, energetic self-starter with ability to collaborate across the Lexington platform
Strong work ethic and proactive, positive attitude in a fast-paced environment with enthusiasm for expanding knowledge
Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
High ethical and professional standards
