In the role of Second Line Support Engineer for Logistics Operations, you combine your pro-active can-do mentality to (support) fixing operational issues on the spot, with your (Logistical) expertise. You contain the issue and will make sure to prevent it from happening again by solving it yourself, or address it to the right level of support. In this role, you will be part of the Disturbance Management Dayshift team.

Daily, you support our First Line Support Engineers in operational issues (in DNs and C4Cs). You visualize and analyse performance trends of disturbances and are in charge of maintenance of documentation and master data. Over time, you will have the opportunity to develop more specific expertise within these responsibility areas.

Your responsibilities include

- Operationally you act as a second line of support for DNs (Disturbance Notifications) and C4Cs (Cloud4Customer).

- You are a packaging and cleanliness expert. You maintain documentation and master data on the following topics:

  • Packaging instructions (ZPACK)
  • Packaging strategies (including alternative packaging)
  • Cleaning codes
  • Re-Use indicator
  • SAP routings
  • SAP Integrity (Clean desk management)
  • New Product Introductions
  • Develop & standardize new tools for logistical processes in collaboration with D&E
  • Ensure that the right tooling, processes and work instructions are available for the operations, for new products developed by D&E
  • You work together with our NPI Engineer(s) to ensure logistical requirements are properly taken into account during design phase of new products

- Being an active counterpart for our third line of support (E.g. D&E)

- Identify and visualize improvement potential in operational processes, based on issue descriptions of individual DN and C4C incidents.

- Organize structural incident follow-up by facilitating and chairing RCA meetings for DNs and C4Cs, like DRB (Disturbance Review Board)

- You have an active role in knowledge sharing and process standardization within the Disturbance Management department

Background and Experience

- Higher (Technical) Educational Level or equivalent working/thinking level

- Minimum of 3 years of ASML relevant work experience (Engineering or Support role)

- Experience within Logistics Operations and/or direct stakeholders is an advantage

Other information

- Full-time position in Dayshift

- You will part of the GMF MS LO BS Disturbance Management Day team, and report to the corresponding Team Lead.

- As this role is a new position in a changing environment, your responsibilities are NOT fixed and therefore not limited to that what is described. Responsibilities can develop over time based on business needs.

- Flexibility to Work from home to a maximum of one-day-a-week (According to current policy, all rights reserved)
