What you'll be doing- Understand requirements and create test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Identify bugs, edge cases, and usability issues and report them clearly.
- Work closely with developers and product teams to ensure quality.
- Perform exploratory testing and make sure new features work as expected.
- Use AI tools to make testing more efficient — for example, generating test scenarios, test data, identifying edge cases, or improving test documentation.
- Keep exploring new tools and ways to improve the QA process.
- 4–6 years of experience in Manual Testing.
- Strong understanding of functional and end-to-end testing.
- Hands-on experience with API testing and Postman.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, and status codes.
- Good understanding of STLC and defect life cycle.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Good to have: Basic exposure to Playwright or any automation tool, SQL/database testing, and experience testing SaaS/web applications.
AI experience is a plus: We would like candidates who have used AI tools in their QA/testing workflow and can explain how they use them to make testing faster or better.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Skills Required
- 4+ years experience in software testing with focus on API testing and automation
- Hands-on experience with Postman for API functional and regression testing
- Designing, developing, and maintaining API automation frameworks
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, XML and web services testing best practices
- Familiarity with API automation tools (Newman, RestAssured, Karate)
- Integrating automated API tests with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Experience with TestNG
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, software development lifecycle, and design patterns
