SD-WAN Senior Security Technik Specialist

We are a team of dedicated security professionals committed to addressing emerging threats. We are currently looking for an experienced SD-WAN Senior Security Technik Specialist to develop, implement, and introduce high-level operational security policies, processes, and strategies within the designated task area. This role involves defining and conducting planned security tests, analyzing optimization measures related to security and data protection, and providing top-tier technical support for security management systems across various technologies.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Developing, providing, and introducing high-level operational security rules, processes, and plans in the task area
• Defining and carrying out planned and event-driven tests as part of security management and their reviews; analyzing
• and devising optimization measures, including initiating and implementing measures
• Developing and carrying out security analyses
• Selecting, specifying, and introducing specific high-level security management tools in the task area
• Functionally preparing, agreeing on, and updating complex service agreements and contracts with partners and customers in the task area
• Providing last-level technical support for security management systems across different technologies in the task area
• Advising and supporting managers and employees on security topics
• Managing projects                                                                                                                

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

• Finished Master Information Technologies with expertise in ICT Systems Engineering (minimum 5 years).
• Hold a CCNP-level or higher certification.
• Excel in MS Office, Networking, Hardware/Software, and ITIL V4 Foundation.
• Possess strong IT/PC literacy at an expert level.
• Demonstrate key soft skills, including leadership, analytical thinking, teamwork, cooperation, and mentoring/coaching.
• Have advanced English proficiency (C1); German language is an advantage.
• Maintain a clear criminal record.
• Showcase advanced networking knowledge, including:
  • Routing & Switching (CCNP level or higher)
  • IPsec and SSL VPNs
  • Proxy and reverse proxy services
  • Firewalls and next-generation firewalls
  • SD-WAN (2nd level operations & 3rd level support)
• Show a willingness to learn new technologies from various vendors and pursue certifications.

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2100 € /brutto.
