SD-WAN Security Technik Specialist

We are a team of dedicated security professionals passionate about tackling emerging threats. We are currently seeking an SD-WAN Security Technician Specialist to handle administrative and operational security tasks. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining operational security rules, processes, and plans. The specialist will also select, specify, and deploy security management tools while providing top-tier technical support for security management systems.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Developing, providing, and introducing operational security rules, processes, and plans in a task field
• Being involved in defining and carrying out event-driven tests as part of security management and their reviews; analyzing and devising optimization measures, including initiating and implementing measures
• Being involved in developing and carrying out security analyses
• Selecting, specifying, and introducing specific security management tools in the task field
• Functionally preparing, agreeing on, and updating complex service agreements and contracts with partners and customers in the task field
• Providing last-level technical support for security management systems in the task field
• Advising and supporting employees on security topics
• Being involved in projects and managing sub-projects                                                                              

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

• Hold a Master's degree in Information Technologies.
• Have at least 4 years of experience in ICT Systems Engineering.
• Possess vendor-specific certifications.
• Hold a CCNP-level certification or higher.

Technical Skills:

• MS Office – Advanced
• Networking – Advanced
• Hardware/Software – Advanced
• ITIL V4 Foundation – Advanced
• IT/PC literacy – Advanced

Key Competencies:

• Communicate effectively.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn.
• Apply analytical thinking.
• Work well in a team and collaborate effectively.

Languages:

• English – Upper intermediate (B2).
• German – Advantage.

Additional Requirements:

• Maintain a clear criminal record.
• Have advanced networking knowledge (CCNP level or higher).
• Understand routing and switching at an advanced level.
• Possess expertise in IPsec and SSL VPNs.
• Have experience with proxy and reverse proxy services.
• Be proficient in firewalls and next-generation firewalls.
• Show a willingness to learn new technologies from various vendors and obtain certifications.
• Have SD-WAN knowledge.
• Provide 2nd level operations and 3rd level support for SD-WAN.

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 1800 € /brutto.
