Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our Brisbane-based team and drive high-quality agile delivery. You will guide cross-functional teams in applying the Scrum framework effectively, enabling them to deliver value with speed, clarity, and confidence.
In this role, you will facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, coach teams in agile principles, and remove impediments that impact delivery. You will create a collaborative, high-performing team environment while promoting continuous improvement and transparency.
You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment, clear communication, and visibility across the delivery lifecycle. You’ll also support the refinement of user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure teams are set up for success from sprint to sprint.
Qualifications- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar agile project management role
- Strong understanding of Scrum principles, practices, and ceremonies
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to foster a collaborative and productive team environment
- Proficiency in agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Kanban boards)
- Scrum Master certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM)) is preferred
- Experience in software development or IT projects is desirable
- Knowledge of agile methodologies beyond Scrum (e.g., Kanban, Lean) is a plus
- Familiarity with project management tools and techniques is advantageous
