About the job:
- Position reports into Director of PMO
- High degree of independence in deciding and applying the best Scrum practices for the company and each development team profile. We do not insist in accepting empty Scrum ceremonies, but instead pursue those techniques that help us become more efficient and adept at planning and executing.
- Position will have to collaborate actively with the Product team
- Position will require assessing current Scrum practices in the development teams and crafting a plan for filling in agile methodology gaps
- Strong support for the success of this position is ensured from delivery, tech and product leads
Responsibilities:
- The Scrum Master will coordinate 2 development teams towards successful delivery of product requirements.
- Collaborates with associated Delivery Managers and Product Managers towards clarity of delivery and managing delivery expectations
- Builds and automates delivery reports for product management and roadmap planning
- Identifies and leads risks, impediments or challenges that might have an impact on the product delivery
- Develops team Scrum ceremonies, including retrospective sessions, daily stand ups (according to each team’s needs) and ensures that action items are followed up on
- Is responsible for the sprint management and application of the company product roadmaps
Experience and qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience being SM for one or more development teams using Scrum protocols;
- Authority in JIRA and Atlassian products
- Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or other leading Agile certification required;
- Understanding patterns and techniques for addressing intentional gaps within the Scrum approach (e.g., various Rundown techniques, diverse Retrospective formats, bug resolution, etc)
- Bachelor degree level or equivalent experience
- Excellent communicator, able to grasp abstract concepts and to be diligent about applying methodology to everyday work practices;
