About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master to join our team. As a Scrum Master, you will facilitate the Scrum process, help teams deliver high-quality products, and support continuous improvement. You will guide the team in adhering to Scrum practices, removing obstacles, and fostering a collaborative, productive environment. In addition, you will play a key role in coordinating work across multiple teams, ensuring effective communication, and helping manage dependencies.

Please note that proficiency in French is mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Scrum Events:
    Lead and facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.

  • Coaching and Mentorship:
    Coach the team in Scrum principles, practices, and values. Guide team members to become self-organizing and cross-functional.

  • Remove Impediments:
    Identify and help resolve any obstacles that prevent the team from delivering high-quality work. Actively work to eliminate bottlenecks.

  • Protect the Team:
    Shield the team from external distractions, interruptions, and unnecessary pressure to help them stay focused on their sprint goals.

  • Ensure Scrum Framework Adherence:
    Ensure that the team follows the Scrum process but also adapt it to fit the team’s needs and project requirements.

  • Cross-Team Coordination:
    Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and teams to ensure smooth communication and alignment across projects. Help manage dependencies between teams.

  • Process Standardization:
    Help standardize processes across teams to ensure consistency, such as sprint length, definition of done, and reporting.

  • Risk and Dependency Management:
    Proactively identify risks and dependencies that could impact the team or project and work to mitigate them.

  • Resource Coordination:
    Collaborate with other departments to ensure the team has the necessary resources to complete their work.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an agile environment.

  • Strong understanding of Scrum frameworks and agile principles.

  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.

  • Experience with Scrum tools like Jira, Trello, or similar.

  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and stakeholders.

  • Fluency in French (both written and spoken) is mandatory.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) is a plus.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in a cross-functional, fast-paced work environment.

  • Knowledge of other agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban, Lean) is a plus.

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
