About the Role

We're seeking a Scrum Master with a Secret Clearance or Higher to join our team, a role that lies at the core of our mission to engineer and manage software projects that redefine industry standards. We believe the success of our product hinges on the buy-in from customers, users, and stakeholders you will be delivering for. Our TDM career track is a great career move for you if you're interested in experience leading and managing people in an Agile environment with a team doing work on the cutting edge of the latest technologies.
In this role, you will:
- Be at the forefront of managing and overseeing complex software development projects. Your role will encompass:
- Engage with mission customers to create a forward leaning product vision and roadmap. Collaborate closely with the technical lead and software development team to craft solutions that align with the product vision.
- Bring your deep expertise in Agile and Scrum practices to the table. You will initially lead a 6-person software development team and ensure seamless project execution.
- Leverage your technical acumen in web technologies and software platform development, you’ll provide essential insights and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize your exceptional written and verbal communication skills to be instrumental in maintaining clear and open channels or communication with team members, stakeholders, and management.
- Utilize your talents in delivering compelling presentations to effectively convey project progress and results to diverse audiences.
You might thrive in this role if you:
- Possess an active Secret Clearance or higher.
- Have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
- Have previous technical engineering experience.
- Have a background in software development, systems engineering, or systems architecture, your expertise will play a pivotal role in understanding and resolving complex project challenges.
- Have product management experience that bridges mission objectives with technical feasibility, your expertise will be vital to the product’s success.
You will excel in this role if you have also these skills:
- Familiarity with Lean Agile or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is beneficial.
- Experience with operations missions, DevOps practices, AWS concepts
- Certifications such as PMP, Certified Lean Agile Professional, SPC, SA, CSM, or CKP will set you apart.
- An understanding of Lean management practices is a valuable asset, especially concerning process optimization and quality assurance.
- Have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
- Have previous technical engineering experience.
