We are adding a Scrum Master / Scrum Coach to our team to improve our development efficiency and predictability, and to help build a development organization to support Centric’s aggressive growth goals. This position in R&D will report to the Senior Director of R&D.

Job Responsibilities:

As a member of our Scrum Master team, you will:

  • Lead the adoption/refinement of Agile methods and methodologies in R&D
  • Implement key Agile Metrics and drive continuous improvements based on data generated from the same.
  • Coach our development teams on adopting the Agile mindset
  • Coach other individuals as they step up to the role of Scrum Master
  • Guide our development teams as they strive to consistently product quality, predictable results
  • Coach product managers and development team on techniques for writing user stories, story breakdown, and story estimation.
  • Perform Scrum Master duties for 2 or 3 scrum teams.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner, Product Managers, and QA to ensure results satisfy R&D’s Customers
  • Manage the scope / time / resource needs necessary to deliver releases to the published product roadmap

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree related to Computer Software / Computer Engineering.
  • Certification in Agile/Scrum methodology
  • 2+ years’ experience in a leadership role driving the adoption of Agile methods
  • Direct experience with a growing development organization
  • Proven results as a team leader of diverse, multi-national teams.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills
  • Ability to adapt to fill multiple roles in a changing environment
