We are urgently looking for a Scrum Master in the region of Murcia. Candidates need to have a fluent level of English.

This position is remote and long-term. Candidates need to live and work in region of Murcia (max 2 hour drive) to make occassional meetings on-site possible.

A Scrum Lead is required to support client facing and internal projects. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are required to manage virtual sprint teams and embed effective ways of working with client teams. Strong presentation and reporting skills are necessary to provide clear messaging to the client at all levels up to senior leadership team members.


Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Leads the onboarding of project teams;
  • Builds constructive working relationships / partnerships with client product owners / key stakeholders and team members, facilitating strategic and execution alignment;
  • Owns and communicates the cadence for internal and client-facing ceremonies. Facilitates ceremonies (daily stand up, backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives);
  • Oversees sprint planning to validate priorities and approach, ensuring work items are represented correctly in JIRA / ADO;
  • Ensures that team members maintain JIRA / ADO with relevant work items, estimates, labels, status and descriptions;
  • Ensures sprint team document code, processes and frameworks including the uplift of any existing client documentation;
  • Manages resourcing conflicts and bottlenecks both within the sprint team and with client counterpart teams;
  • Facilitates and manages risks, blockers and dependencies, escalating internally or to the client when required;
  • Supports, contributes to or leads client steering committee depending on the engagement;
  • Owns methods for tracking and communicating progress and status e.g., JIRA / ADO boards, RAID Logs, Kibana dashboards, other KPIs, OKRs and metrics;
  • Embeds a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the sprint team, with client counterpart teams and across the organisation;
  • Looks for opportunities to increase client engagement;


Profile:

  • College / university degree, Bacc. Ing. Comp (or similar);
  • Experience as Scrum Manager;
  • Certifications: project management (APM PQ, PMI PMP, Prince 2 Practitioner), Certified / Professional Scrum Manager
  • In-depth experience in delivering projects using Agile frameworks (including SAFe);
  • Background in software delivery and detailed knowledge of the SDLC is necessary;
  • CI / CD and DevOps awareness is an advantage;
  • Evidence of senior stakeholder management is also required;
  • Fluent level of English;


Tooling: JIRA, Azure DevOps, portfolio management reporting tools, CI/CD component awareness
Frameworks: Agile, Kanban, Scrum, DevOps / DevSecOps awareness, Waterfall
