We are looking for a passionate Scrum Master Lead. If you get energized by coaching people in the agile way of working and helping organizations achieve their goals in a collaborative way, this role might be perfect for you! 

Your challenge

  • As the Scrum Master Lead, you act as a coach for both the scrum master team and the organization. In your global role you not only cover different regions, but you also establish and maintain frequent interactions with a broad stakeholder network and effectively align with their interests.

    More in detail, your responsibilities include you: 


  • Align and standardize ways of working across 10+ agile squads while preserving individual squad identities. 
  • Promote, monitor, and improve agile practices to ensure consistency and coherence across teams. 
  • Manage dependencies, facilitate cross-team discussions, and address process-related challenges. 
  • Identify and resolve cross-squad impediments and resource constraints
  • Organize and lead quarterly planning events to define squad delivery plans for the next 3 months. 
  • Collaborate in the ACI council to address organizational tensions and implement improvements using Sociocracy 3.0 (S3) practices. 
  • Foster knowledge sharing and continuous improvement through the cross-scrum master community
  • Provide agile metrics and OKRs that enable data-driven decision-making, transparency, and continuous improvement. 
  • Coach and mentor scrum masters, offering feedback and participating in performance reviews. 
  • Support people processes, including recruitment, career development, and wellbeing monitoring for scrum masters and squad members. 

Your interest and skills

  • You have at least 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or in similar roles in complex environments. 
  • You are a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP). 
  • You have a strong understanding of agile concepts like relative estimation, prioritization, team velocity, and sprint metrics. 
  • You’re skilled in facilitating large-scale planning events (e.g., PI planning, quarterly planning). 
  • As a Scrum Master Lead, you are an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. 
  • You have leadership and coaching expertise, with experience in people management and familiarity with distributed or remote teams. 
  • You’re transparent, empathetic, organized, and committed to maintaining information security standards. 
  • To top it all off, you are fluent in English, with additional languages being an asset, and you’re willing to work regularly at the HQ in Groot-Bijgaarden
