We’re looking for an experienced Scrum Master to support BrandButter, our marketing agency unit. You’ll act as a coach and facilitator, helping teams apply Agile principles to creative, client-focused work. Your role is to keep projects on track, remove roadblocks, and improve how campaigns are delivered — fostering collaboration, transparency, and predictability across the team.

BrandButter is our marketing agency unit with an international remote team. We work with both internal and external clients, delivering creative strategies, campaigns, and content that help brands stand out and grow. Our team blends creativity with structure — ensuring every project runs smoothly, meets goals, and makes an impact.
What you’ll be working on:
- Serve as Scrum Master for the marketing teams, facilitating Agile ceremonies as needed.
- Adapt Agile practices to fit a marketing and creative workflow (sprints, content production cycles, multi-channel deliverables).
- Coach team members and stakeholders in Agile values, principles, and practices.
- Identify and remove impediments that block progress (creative bottlenecks, dependencies, or client feedback delays).
- Foster an environment of collaboration, transparency, and trust across roles (account managers, creatives, strategists).
- Support account managers in refining and managing client/project backlogs.
- Help the team measure and improve performance using meaningful metrics (on-time delivery, throughput, client satisfaction).
- Encourage continuous improvement through retrospectives and workflow adaptations.
- Partner with other Scrum Masters in the Process Excellence department to align practices across business units and share learnings.
About you (preferred requirements for this role):
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) and Lean principles.
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
- Ability to foster collaboration and resolve conflicts within and across teams.
- Highly organized with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe-SM) preferred.
- Experience working in a marketing agency, creative team, or with marketing/advertising workflows (campaigns, content production, client approvals) is a plus.
- Experience working with distributed or remote-first teams is a plus.
- Teams are consistently delivering high-quality outcomes on time.
- Agile practices are understood, adopted, and continuously improved.
- Obstacles and bottlenecks are resolved quickly.
- Teams feel supported, empowered, and engaged in their work.
- Client satisfaction improves.
