What You’ll Do
You're the person who makes sure Prep Scores actually works, and then makes it better. Day-to-day, that means owning the operational health of scores data across 45+ markets and multiple sports, and keeping the in-season machine running for football and basketball. You'll coordinate scout engagement, manage classification update cycles, and build the processes that turn good-enough into genuinely reliable. But this role isn't just about keeping the lights on; it's about pushing the product forward. You'll dig into user behavior data, analyze traffic trends, and bring real product-level thinking to the evolution of Scores from a data-aggregation foundation into a system that leverages user-reported data, live scoring, and community features. If you like owning something end-to-end, operations and product, process and vision, this is your seat.

Prep Network isn’t your average sports company; we’re all about helping student-athletes succeed and creating an awesome workplace.
Core Responsibilities
- Scores & Schedules Accuracy. Verify that scores, games, team names, and divisions are correct across all active markets. Catch errors early, spot recurring problems, and hold the standard for what complete and reliable coverage looks like.
- Traffic & Performance Insights. Review Scores traffic reports on a regular cadence, surface what's worth paying attention to, and bring clear, actionable observations on market performance, engagement trends, and data quality to the right stakeholders.
- Preseason Readiness. Own the audit process across all active markets before each sport's season launch, validating classifications, conferences, and schedules against authoritative sources so we go live clean, every time.
- Market & Sport Expansion. Lead operational readiness when we grow, evaluating new sources, aggregating schedules, onboarding scouts, and QA-ing team pages so expansion doesn't mean chaos.
- Product Subject Matter Expertise. Build deep knowledge of how users interact with Scores, translating traffic reports, session recordings, and engagement data into clear issues and opportunities that move the Product team forward.
