Responsibilities

Development and application of technologies for screening and implementation of suitable microorganisms for industrial bioprocesses

Continuous development of competences in the field of cultivation and fermentation technologies and state of the art monitoring
-
Establish and apply models to accomplish project goals in a structured and efficient manner (e.g. kinetic models, black-box models, hybrid models etc.)
-
Collaboration in interdisciplinary teams as technical expert / project leader
-
Effective documentation, communication and presentation of concepts and results to stakeholders
Requirements
-
Degree in biotechnology, chemical engineering or bioprocess engineering, PhD preferred
-
Proven abilities in the cultivation of microorganisms by driving technological KPIs
-
Experience in bioprocess modelling (kinetic models, black-box-modelling, hybrid modelling ...)
-
Good command of IT tools for data integration and analysis
-
Very good written and spoken English; German language skills are of advantage
-
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and excellent communication skills in the context of project and stakeholder management
-
High level of personal responsibility and willingness to travel nationally and internationally
