You will begin building your foundation in assessing data integrity and troubleshooting with support.
Our Mass Spec Bioanalysis Development team uses LCMS (Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry) techniques to conduct sophisticated sample preparation to meet bioanalytical needs for drug discovery, preclinical, and clinical studies, including bioanalysis of drugs and metabolites, biomarkers, and active endogenous compounds in biological fluids and tissues.
In this role, we will rely on you to:
- Execute assigned portions of studies including sample preparation (extractions, enrichments/affinity capture, digestions) and LCMS analysis under supervision
- Support method development and qualification activities by following established protocols
- Perform routine data processing and assist in preparing data summaries
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues with guidance
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with study protocols, SOPs & regulatory requirements
- Ensure proper sample identification, handling, and tracking
- Communicate progress and escalate issues to senior staff as needed
- Perform all aspects of the job in a way that supports company brand and supports company mission, vision, and values
To qualify for this role, you will have:
- Bachelor’s or master’s in chemistry, Biochemistry or chemical/biochemical engineering, or related field with 2+ years of experience with LC-MS/MS
- Exposure to bioanalytical sample preparation and quantitative LC-MS/MS techniques (academic or industry)
- Basic understanding of chromatographic principles and mass spectrometry
- Experience with small molecule analysis; exposure to proteins and peptides is a plus
- Familiarity with laboratory documentation and working in a structured or regulated environment is preferred
