Scientist with a magic wand
As a scientist for early technology development you will be responsible for the bridging between theory and practice across a number of project. Your role will be to materialize hypothesis and prototyping technologies that can disrupt the way we think about organic coatings. You will be working in the front end of our innovation chain and with partners that can help increase understanding as well as impact. Your work will revolve around topics such as:

  • Structure property relationships
  • Synthesis of novel materials
  • Technology scouting
  • Prototyping and screening

What do you need to be successful in this role?

You don’t need to be from Hogwarts, but we are looking for someone to conjure up new materials – in small scale first. If you are not a wizard, you probably have a background as an engineer, chemist or equivalent. Industrial experience is not a prerequisite, but you must share our ambitions and commitment to the cause. We expect you to be self-driven and a doer. You thrive both in the lab and at the desk. Experience with following topics is preferred:

  • Lab-scale synthesis
  • Silicone chemistry
  • Analytical chemistry
  • Test design and scientific reporting

Join our marine technology team
As a scientist for early technology development, you will join our ambitious Marine Technology team in R&D. We are a growing team of scientists that fight relentlessly every day against waste in the shipping industry. We need someone to cover the gap between idea and practice Steel preservation is our newest leg and you will therefore be part of establishing and maturing a technology project portfolio.
