The Senior Application Scientist is responsible for process research and development projects, primarily focused, but not limited to, ion beam technology and adjacent processes.
This includes the ability to study complex physical problems, design and execute experiments and characterize the outcome. Projects requires development in first line with work in clean room environment, but also management of complex collaboration ecosystem with academics and industrials. Recognized as process technology expects. The Senior Application Scientist will be responsible to build deep and up to date knowledge on the state of the art of advance manufacturing process and to bring innovation: helping in shaping future technology roadmap, generating IP and scientific publication. As key expert of specific processes you will support all phases that follows an R&D project. Specifically navigating the capability and performance needs in productization phases, support testing and generating demonstration material for promotion, up to present and collaborate to key customer in the go-to-market phase.
