The Role

As a Monitoring & Observability Engineer at Kyndryl, you will play a key role in specific project deliverables and will work on improving current processes to reduce business outages by building, testing and deploying robust monitoring solutions for the enterprise workloads. This is a full hands-on position that requires previous experience building, deploying and maintaining monitoring solutions especially ScienceLogic for large-scale environments across on-prem and public cloud environments.

Responsibilities Includes:

• Advise clients on the design, implementation, and optimization of monitoring and observability solutions.

• Work closely with business owners to analyze specific needs and use cases related to monitoring and observability. Translate these requirements into tailored solution concepts that align with their business objectives.

• Customize ScienceLogic’s capabilities according to business needs by developing bespoke dashboards, reports, alerts, and integrating the platform with other systems in close collaboration with enterprise tooling team.

• Continuously assess and refine monitoring configurations to optimize system performance, reduce downtime, and improve visibility into infrastructure and application health.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

• 5+ years of in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with monitoring and observability solutions, especially ScienceLogic.

• Strong understanding of IT infrastructures (cloud, on-premises, containers, microservices) and their monitoring and performance optimization. 

• Experience advising clients on complex IT projects, preferably in the monitoring and observability domain.

• Proficiency in adapting and extending dashboards, alerting rules, reporting, and integrations within ScienceLogic.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• With bachelor's degree or master’s degree.

• ScienceLogic Certification would be an added advantage.
