Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Scheduling Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to Develops, manages, and/or executes all phases of the project controls effort (planning/scheduling and cost analysis). The incumbent utilizes widely diversified knowledge of project controls activities and draws upon extensive experience and exposure to various types of projects and clients.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Establish planning and scheduling standards, WBS/CBS structures, coding, calendars, and procedures aligned with contractual and project governance.

  • Develop, integrate, and maintain Level 1–4 schedules and the Integrated Master Schedule, ensuring robust logic, interfaces, and milestone integrity.

  • Develop detailed schedules with resource/cost loading at the activity level. •'

  • Implement a deliverable-based progress measurement model and coordinate with Leads to maintain periodic updates.

  • Utilize Earned Value Management techniques to evaluate schedule and cost performance metrics.

  • Maintain bi-weekly updates of Earned Value Analysis dashboard at the project and Sector level.

  • Review, check and evaluate Contractors/Consultants schedule of works. Monitor the work progress, compare to the accepted program of work and report it to the Project Director and Project Controls Manager. Prepare weekly and/or monthly progress reports covering the status of the project.

  • Lead review and finalize, Contractors/Design Consultants schedules (Baseline/Recovery) in line with established procedures and Contract requirements.

  • Lead schedule risk assessments; quantify impacts to milestones and contingency and provide mitigation recommendations.

  • Govern schedule change control; perform time impact analyses and support claims/forensic schedule reviews as required.

  • Facilitate weekly/monthly schedule reviews and look-ahead planning, drive accountability for deliverables across Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or related field (or equivalent work experience) and typically 15+ years of related experience, as well as having worked as the Planning/scheduling manager on large-scale projects.

  • Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions, which include schedule development, control, and analysis, in the field and the home office.

  • Proficient PC skills including proficiency Project Controls Software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong capability in establishment of progress measurement system, variance/trend analysis, critical path/near‑critical analysis, and schedule forecasting, resource-loaded scheduling and coordination across multi-functional teams.

  • Experience in performing time impact analyses and support claims/forensic schedule reviews of Contractors/Consultants claims as required.

  • Experience as Planning scheduling Manager/ Lead on high end hospitality Projects preferably in KSA/GCC region with Western Internationally reputed firms.

  • Knowledge of engineering and construction management is customarily acquired over time through specialized instruction or practical experience. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, direct, perform, review, and present schedule products independently with minimal supervision. This includes using a high level of professional judgment and knowledge related to technical planning and scheduling skills and engineering design, construction, and procurement practices.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard project controls/reporting practices; familiarity with EVM concepts.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills; demonstrated ability to influence and drive outcomes.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
