Description

We are seeking a professional and friendly Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and referring dental offices. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the practice schedule, coordinating patient appointments, and ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our patients and referring doctors.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients and referring dental offices with scheduling clinical procedures efficiently and accurately.
  • Demonstrate reliability, organization, and strong time management skills.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth patient flow and excellent service.
  • Proper management and maintenance of the practice schedule.
  • Answer incoming calls, respond to voicemails, and respond to emails promptly.
  • Coordinate with referring offices to gather necessary information for upcoming appointments.
  • Maintain referral relations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Assist with additional administrative tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain an understanding of insurance and billing processes relevant to dental offices.
  • Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and internal practice policies at all times.

Requirements

  • One or more years of dental or oral surgery practice experience is preferred.
  •  One or more years of customer service experience is preferred.
  • Detail oriented & reliable organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve effectively.
  • Experience with dental electronic health record software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
