About the Project
Join a global product team building a high-performance transaction processing platform from scratch. The system processes over 600 million transactions daily and is designed for real-time performance, high availability, and a scalable distributed architecture.
Built using event sourcing, microservices, and clustered systems, this platform powers a growing B2B ecosystem with millions of active users worldwide.
We follow Agile methodologies and emphasize TDD, clean code, and resilient architecture.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement features in a high-load, real-time environment
- Build and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant microservices
- Write testable, clean code following best practices
- Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions
- Work closely with cross-functional teams on end-to-end delivery
- Continuously improve system scalability, resilience, and performance
- 3+ years of Scala development experience (SBT, Akka, Play)
- 5+ years of Java experience
- Proven expertise in distributed systems design and development
- Strong background in functional programming and JVM internals
- Hands-on experience with high-throughput, event-driven systems
- Experience working with Kafka, SQL, and NoSQL databases
- Agile team player with strong collaboration and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
- Familiarity with Cassandra or other column-family DBs
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
- Knowledge of CDC (Change Data Capture) and event sourcing patterns
