We’re looking for a hands-on SCADA Programmer who thrives in a highly technical, project-driven environment and enjoys turning complex control concepts into real-world, working systems. In this role, you’ll design, program, and deploy PLC and SCADA solutions that power essential operations for our customers.
If you enjoy solving problems, working across teams, and seeing your work come to life in the field—this is a great opportunity to make an impact.
What You’ll Do- Translate engineering control narratives into functional PLC logic, SCADA configurations, and detailed system designs
- Develop PLC programs using ladder logic, structured text, and function block programming
- Configure SCADA systems including point mapping, templates, RTUs, and communication protocols
- Design intuitive, user-friendly HMI/SCADA interfaces with a focus on usability and consistency
- Build and execute test plans to validate programming performance before deployment
- Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting—both remotely and on-site with customers
- Collaborate closely with automation engineers, project managers, and field teams to deliver successful projects
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation of system logic, configurations, and updates
- Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience developing PLC programs and SCADA/HMI systems
- Strong understanding of industrial control systems, networks, and communication protocols
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and P&IDs
- Proven troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and networked systems
- Experience in water/wastewater, utilities, or industrial environments
- Background in UI/UX or graphic design for industrial interfaces
- Familiarity with RTUs, radio/telemetry systems, or advanced system integrations
- You take ownership—following through to ensure systems are working exactly as intended
- You’re collaborative and comfortable working across technical and non-technical teams
- You communicate clearly, whether troubleshooting in the field or aligning on project goals
- You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality results
This is more than just programming—you’ll play a key role in delivering systems that support critical infrastructure and real-world operations. You’ll see your work move from concept to commissioning, and have a direct impact on customer success.
