Role Overview
Support data processing and system revamp initiatives through strong SAS development and data quality capabilities. This role focuses on delivering accurate, reliable, and high-quality data outputs using SAS, while leveraging Python for supporting ETL and data processing tasks. You will work with large datasets, contribute to data validation and reconciliation efforts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of data-driven projects.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance SAS programs for data processing and analysis
Perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation to ensure data quality
Analyse and troubleshoot data issues, ensuring accuracy and integrity
Support A/B comparison analysis and data validation activities
Contribute to Python-based data processing and ETL workflows where required
Build and maintain ETL pipelines for data cleaning and transformation
Work with Oracle databases to manage and process data
Participate in system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and deployment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system enhancements and data initiatives
Requirements & Preferred Profile
SAS Certified Specialist (Base Programming Using SAS 9.4)
Strong hands-on experience in SAS programming (core requirement)
Solid understanding of data quality, validation, and reconciliation
Working knowledge of Python (e.g., OOP concepts, Pandas, ETL/data processing)
Intermediate SQL proficiency (Oracle) and basic exposure to GitHub
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
Experience in large-scale data environments or system revamp projects is advantageous
Exposure to government or enterprise data systems is a plus
Collaborative, detail-oriented, and able to work in fast-paced project environments
This role requires eligibility for government security clearance (CAT 1).
