Job Description

The SAS Analyst at Blend is an essential member of our analytics team, focusing on leveraging SAS to analyze and report on data related to our credit portfolio operations. This role is pivotal in extracting, analyzing, and reporting data to aid decision-making and strategic planning.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Utilizing SAS for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis related to credit portfolios.
• Developing and maintaining SAS programs for analytics and reporting purposes.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand data needs and delivering precise analytical solutions.
• Ensuring data integrity and accuracy in all analyses and reports.
• Partnering with the Tableau team for data visualization and dashboarding.
• Enhancing data analytics methodologies and best practices within the team.

Qualifications

• Proven SAS programming proficiency, especially in a data analysis context.
• Experience in data extraction, manipulation, and analysis within the business or financial sectors.
• Comprehensive understanding of credit portfolio management and financial data analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data communication skills.
• Effective collaboration abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with SQL and other database technologies.
• Background in financial services, particularly in credit analysis or lending.

Additional Information

• Location: Hybrid (3 days a week in-office) in Charlotte, North Carolina, or Atlanta, Georgia.
• Duration: 12 months contract to hire.
• Compensation: $50 - $65 per hour.
• Team: 4 Person Team.
