Role: SAP tester, functional testing and test automation

Summary
We’re looking for a hands-on SAP tester with strong S/4HANA functional coverage and proven test automation using Tricentis Tosca. You’ll design and execute functional and regression testing across Fiori, SAP GUI, and service layers, with deep Finance (FiCo) focus. You’ll manage test assets in qTest, support role-based (authorisations) testing, and collaborate with Finance SMEs, SAP functional consultants, and integration teams through to a November 2026 go live.
What you’ll do
- Plan, design, and maintain test suites for FiCo scope: financial accounting, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, asset accounting.
- Build and maintain Tosca automation for Web/Fiori, SAP GUI, and API/RFC/services, applying strong Test Design principles (modularisation, data separation, reusability, risk-based coverage).
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and role-based/authorisations testing; support UAT.
- Configure and administer Tricentis qTest: requirements traceability, test cycles, execution, dashboards, and reporting.
- Coordinate daily defect triage, drive root-cause analysis, and verify fixes.
- Contribute to test data management and environment readiness checks.
- Communicate progress and risks clearly to business and technical stakeholders.
What you’ll bring
- Commercial experience with SAP S/4HANA, including Fiori apps and SAP GUI.
- Deep FiCo knowledge across Financial Accounting (GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting).
- Experience with roles and authorisations, including designing and executing role-based tests.
- Tricentis Tosca proficiency for Web/Fiori, SAP GUI, and API/RFC/services.
- Strong understanding of Tosca Test Design and maintainable automation architectures.
- Tricentis qTest experience for test management, execution, and reporting.
- Solid functional testing foundations, defect lifecycle management, and Agile ways of working.
- Excellent communication, open and clear style; proficient in English.
Bonus skills
- Exposure to SD/MM integration points impacting FiCo flows.
- Experience with test data tooling and/or CI-driven regression triggers.
- Performance/non-functional testing exposure and basic CI/CD familiarity.
